On Monday and Tuesday the over night lows were above 30 degrees F, so I rode my tricycle the 16 miles to work and back each day. Tuesday I saw the silhouette of a deer against the remaining snow. Various birds, including cardinals, swans and red wing blackbirds made their presence known. I waved to oncoming cars. Lots of them waved back. I spent much of the ride in a marvelous day dream.
I made the last hill climb into work with no more difficulty than I had last fall. Spring is coming and I am alive.
