Death and Taxes
I just mailed off David's 2006 Federal and State tax returns. Fortunately, he was alive all year and left good records. The tax calculation part was pretty straight forward (Thank you standard deduction.) and I am confident that all required tax was paid. The only worrisome part was the proper documentation needed for a deceased person.

Life goes on.

In dollars, I don't know yet. But they will want two returns. One for the week he was alive and a separate return for his estate.
